The historic Castle Inn is found in the beautiful National Trust village of Chiddingstone in Kent. Chiddingstone is said to be one of the best-preserved Tudor villages in the country. Dating back to the early 15th century, our grade II* listed building features many historic features such as the fireplaces, tiled floors, oak panelling and bars. We also have a beautiful suntrap of a garden. Attractions to visit in the area include Chiddingstone Castle, Hever Castle and Penshurst Place.
*** April 2021: The Castle Inn currently remains closed, but we hope to provide updates about reopening soon. Thank you for your patience. ***

Parking is available in the village and you are also welcome to park at lovely Chiddingstone Castle next door (unless there is an exclusive-use wedding taking place). After parking, walk past the front of the castle (with the castle on your right), then it is a very short walk across the bridge, which brings you to the gate at the front of the inn. Please put £2 in the honesty box.
