NOTE: On Sunday September 27, we will be unable to serve roast dinners. Service will be back to normal on Sunday October 4.
We are delighted that The Castle Inn is now open from Thursdays to Sundays.
BOOKING IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED – PLEASE PHONE DURING OPENING HOURS.
On days when we’re not open, please email booking requests to email@example.com. We will be in touch to confirm bookings with you as soon as possible.
We are taking things slowly to start with, and for the time being are only able to offer a selection of sandwiches, burgers, fish/scampi and chips and cakes, nuts and then, on Sunday, roasts.
Stretch your legs around the beautiful National Trust village of Chiddingstone, which is said to be one of the best preserved Tudor villages in the country, and then join us for a bite to eat and your favourite tipple. We always have a couple of local beers on.
In good weather, seating will be outside, in the back garden and at the front, and orders will be taken through an open hatch. We will move people inside if the weather is inclement. Social distancing and all government guidelines (hand sanitiser, well spaced tables etc) are being adhered to.
The Castle Inn’s new food service times are:
Thursdays, 10am to 4pm
Fridays and Saturdays, from 9.30am to 6pm
Sundays, 9.30am to 5pm, roasts from midday
These hours may be subject to change. Bookings taken by phone during opening hours.
